Job Description:

We are looking for a Business Process Analyst to support a Contract engagement in Savannah, Georgia. This role will concentrate on documenting and analyzing current workflows. The position requires an on-site work during normal business hours.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review and document business workflows tied to a broad portfolio of applications used across the organization
  • Observe employees in person as they carry out daily tasks to capture real-world process steps, handoffs, and pain points
  • Prioritize analysis efforts around the most urgent operational concerns identified by department stakeholders
  • Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and supporting documentation that reflect current-state operations
  • Analyze data movement and information handoffs between applications to identify dependencies and documentation gaps
  • Partner with resources to gather insights, validate findings, and refine process documentation
  • Organize and maintain project artifacts in a structured document storage approach to support accessibility and version control

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis within complex operational environments
  • Strong ability to develop process maps and clearly document end-to-end workflows
  • Hands-on experience with process documentation and translating observations into formal business artifacts
  • Familiarity with data mapping and identifying relationships between systems, processes, and information flows
  • Ability to work on site and engage directly with staff to understand how work is performed in practice
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with multiple application stakeholders and validating process details
  • Proficiency in maintaining organized documentation and supporting structured document storage practices
