Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Business Performance Manager to join the Amgen External Planning (AXP) organization. Reporting to the AXP Senior Manager Supply Chain, this Hyderabad-based role supports global AXP operations across the US, Europe, and JAPAC regions. The role is responsible for driving strategic improvements to AXP processes and ways of working, while delivering data-driven business insights across the organization. Working closely with the AXP Business Development Office and Amgen Digital and Technology teams, the Manager will help shape and deliver AXP's digital strategy, solutions, and transformation initiatives. The Business Performance Manager will partner with key stakeholders across the AXP Process Framework operating model, including Global, Regional, and Site Supply Chain teams, Global Distribution, Contract Quality Management, Operations Finance, and AXP Regional Hubs, to optimize and integrate processes and systems. This role leads AXP process framework improvements with a focus on Lean Business Systems, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, and digital adoption. The position also ensures performance visibility across commercial and pre-commercial supply, supports integrated business planning, and strengthens compliance execution across the External Planning organization. As an integral part of Amgen Global Supply Chain, AXP enables reliable, efficient, and agile planning and delivery for CMO-sourced products. Based in Hyderabad, the Business Performance Manager serves as a key member of the External Supply work center team. The ideal candidate combines strong supply chain expertise with a digital mindset, Project Management and analytical capability, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement within a complex global matrix environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Own, shape and deliver AXP's digital strategy, solutions, and transformation initiatives
  • Support performance and usability of end-to-end AXP business reporting tools and KPI dashboards
  • Support development and continuous improvement of tools used for supply dashboards and metrics
  • Ensure AXP has necessary visibility into key performance drivers including data accuracy, application usability for both Commercial & Clinical functions
  • Support system usage and improvements for Quarterly Business Reviews and forward 12Q strategy discussions
  • Partner with Finance and Global Planning to align performance metrics platforms for financial and LRS cycles
  • Own the AXP Process Framework and Operating Model across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Enable
  • Complete continuous improvement, risk identification and value stream mapping of Existing AXP Process maps, RACI's with key stakeholders, Work Instructions, Job Aids and Guide documents
  • Manage changes to any SOP's or approved documentation through close collaboration with AXP Compliance and Business Development Office (BDO)
  • Evaluate success of process changes through collaboration with AXP BDO
  • Partner closely with AXP operations across the US, Europe, and JAPAC regions
  • AXP Supply Execution Manager, AXP Business Development Office Manager to ensure alignment of priorities

  • at least 2 years' experience directly managing or leading projects, programs

  • Proven leadership capabilities with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
