Job Description

Beacon Hill’s client is seeking a Business Operations Associate to support their dynamic business operations team on a contract-only basis. This role focuses on handling foundational and transactional work to help relieve current team members, while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and excellent client support. This opportunity is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numerical data, and brings strong customer service experience-primarily through email communication. Prior exposure to financial services or banking environments is highly preferred.

Job Responsibility

  • Review, process, and reconcile monthly credit insurance premiums, debt protection charges, rate administration fees, and billing statements for assigned clients and financial institutions
  • Identify discrepancies and research out-of-balance conditions or eligibility concerns to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Partner with clients and financial institutions to support the completion and submission of accurate, on-time monthly reports
  • Address and resolve reporting-related issues at both the client and end-customer levels to improve service outcomes
  • Respond to client and customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency, primarily through email correspondence, with limited phone interaction as needed
  • Complete assigned operational tasks by following documented procedures and established business processes

Requirements

  • Ability to perform routine operational work using defined processes and guidelines
  • 1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-directed, dependable, and proactive
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with numerical and financial data

  • Previous experience in a business operations role
  • Background in the financial services or banking industry
