Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to drive Meta's strategic objectives within our Strategic Sourcing and Supply Development Engineering organization. This role involves understanding supply chain systems, creating advanced data modeling and business intelligence, and providing critical insights for decision making across product life cycles. You will also be instrumental in leading multiple cross-organizational strategic initiatives that have the highest visibility within Reality Labs Devices.

Job Responsibility

  • Spearhead the "AI-Native Sourcing" Strategy: Define and execute a multi-year roadmap to transition the Sourcing organization from traditional operations to an AI-first model, identifying high-leverage use cases across category management, contracting, and supplier negotiations
  • Champion Internal AI Productivity (AI for Work): Drive the evaluation, piloting, and organization-wide scaling of Generative AI tools (e.g., LLM-based Copilots) to automate routine workflows, significantly reducing manual overhead in RFP generation, contract summarization, and communications etc
  • Architect Data Readiness for AI: Partner with Engineering and Analytics to overhaul data governance and architecture, ensuring Sourcing data is structured, clean, and accessible for training proprietary models and enabling predictive supply chain insights
  • Lead Team Transformation and Enablement: Evangelize an "AI-first" mindset across the Strategic Sourcing team
  • design and lead upskilling initiatives, prompt engineering workshops, and hackathons to empower every team member to become a citizen developer
  • Drive Predictive Intelligence: Move beyond descriptive analytics to predictive AI modeling, leveraging machine learning to forecast supply risks, automate cost modeling, and generate real-time market intelligence for executive decision-making
  • Establish AI Governance: Develop frameworks for the ethical and secure use of AI within Sourcing, ensuring compliance with internal security standards while maximizing operational agility
  • Build effective and efficient solutions based on immediate business needs while working with broader teams to achieve long term strategy of supply chain processes and systems
  • Provide leadership with insightful, timely, and highly reliable business intelligence to support critical decisions. Champion the data-driven approach within Reality Labs Sourcing

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Supply Chain or related technical field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in consumer electronics industry
  • Demonstrated experience in data analytics, data visualization, and scenario based analysis
  • Demonstrated experience adapting to changing priorities and business needs within a dynamic environment
  • Effective communicator and detail-oriented
