The Business Process Analyst will provide operational support to the Sponsor while utilizing the financial management systems to support Budget and Plans Officers.
Job Responsibility:
Provide operational support to the Sponsor by tracking and archiving board programmatic and financial requirements
Utilize financial management systems, including ALM, COGNOS, and RCAF, to support Budget and Plans Officers in administering organizational finances
Monitor anticipated resource requirements against actual expenditures to identify variances and opportunities for optimization
Draft financial reports to support both internal and external reporting requirements
Document financial relationships and coordination activities with external stakeholders
Develop business metrics to support office performance tracking and decision-making
Design and develop data visualization solutions and customized dashboards to transform financial and operational data into actionable insights for leadership
Perform data clean-up, consolidation, and visualization to improve data quality and usability
Identify opportunities for process improvements related to financial tracking, reporting, and operational workflows
Requirements:
Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
Demonstrated good judgment, initiative and critical thinking ability to take action and execute mission objectives by leveraging networks and drawing on multiple areas of expertise
Ability to support multiple programs and projects simultaneously
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Self-starter with strong initiative and follow through
Expert-level skills with Microsoft Office products
