The role also involves acting as a key liaison between the business office and operating room teams to help streamline processes and control costs.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform clerical tasks such as organizing files, scanning documents, and maintaining patient records
  • Serve as a point of communication between the business office and operating room teams to address billing and cost-related concerns
  • Collaborate with the billing department to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims, including providing necessary documentation
  • Monitor and report on cost containment strategies, identifying opportunities for financial improvement
  • Audit patient accounts to resolve discrepancies and ensure billing accuracy
  • Reconcile daily financial transactions to maintain consistency and reliability
  • Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including tracking outstanding balances and processing payments
  • Facilitate patient check-ins by verifying demographics, medical history, and insurance information for accuracy
