The Business Manager is responsible for driving business performance through strategic planning, & operational oversight. This role plays a key part in shaping business strategy, monitoring performance, and providing insights through the preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews. The Business Manager will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support growth, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Contribute to the development and execution of business strategy aligned with organizational goals
Analyze market trends, business performance, and competitive landscape to inform strategic direction
Identify opportunities for growth, cost optimization, and operational improvement
Support leadership in setting short- and long-term business objectives
Prepare and present comprehensive monthly and quarterly business reviews (MBRs/QBRs) for senior leadership
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and performance metrics
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on performance analysis
Partner with finance, operations, sales, and other departments to gather relevant data and insights
Support cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects
Act as a key point of contact for business performance-related inquiries
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
Monitor progress against business plans and strategic objectives
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned to company goals
Craft clear, compelling messaging on strategy, performance, change initiatives and priorities
Own key communication challenges (Town halls, MBR, QBR, monthly priorities email, executive updates etc.)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
10 + years experience in business management, strategy, or a related analytical role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders
Nice to have:
MBA preferred
Experience preparing business reviews for senior leadership
Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
