We're looking for an experienced and motivated Business Manager – Children's Systems Lead (12-month contract) to join Gloucestershire County Council's Children's Services at an important and exciting time of change. As we continue to improve services and respond to national reforms, we want someone who understands the realities of practice—and how the right systems and support can make a real difference. Working within our Business Support team and reporting to the Head of Business & Resource (Children's Services), you'll play a key role in shaping how our case management system (Liquidlogic) supports social care practice. This role is about more than managing a system—it's about working alongside colleagues to ensure it genuinely helps them deliver safe, high-quality support to children and families. You'll bring your knowledge of Children's Services practice and systems to help us keep pace with national expectations and local changes, while making sure the system remains practical, reliable and aligned to how teams work day to day. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands both the challenges of frontline services and the importance of getting systems right - using your experience to influence improvements, support colleagues, and help us get the best from the tools we use. Ultimately, your work will help ensure our services run smoothly and continue to make a positive difference for children and families across Gloucestershire.
