The Business Manager position requires the incumbent to work closely with the Vice-Chancellor and the Director Academic Affairs (DAA) and assist the Office of the Vice-Chancellor in strategic and operational aspects. The position holder is expected to be responsible for all administrative functions, financial and resource management, including liaising with Colleges, Divisions, Centers and Institutes of the University in relation to funding support from the OVC. This position will also hold key relationships with the members of the FNU Council and the Senior Leadership Team, Corporate Communications, Colleges, Divisions and other business units across the university. This is a senior position within the Office of Vice-Chancellor and as such the position holder is expected to work with a significant degree of autonomy but seek directions from the VC on key issues surrounding operations and strategy. The Business Manager will work independently, receiving directions from the Vice-Chancellor and will work with Senior Leadership Team to build a collaborative and collegial team ethos. The incumbent will exercise judgement and decision-making in relation to external and internal commitments and requests.
Job Responsibility

Requirements
Master's degree in a relevant field with 6 years of relevant work experience
OR Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field with 7 years of relevant work experience
OR Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 9 years of relevant work experience
Experience in financial planning and management
Experience in delivering positive and innovative solutions to complex issues
