The Division of Financial Services seeks a highly motivated, collaborative leader for the role of Business Manager within the Administrative Support Center – Financial Operations team. The open position serves nine units reporting to the Assistant Vice President and Director for Extension and manages a team of one Grants Specialist and four Accounting Coordinators.
Job Responsibility:
Leading day-to-day accounting activities
Monitoring spend activity versus budget
Management and tracking of grant activity
Supervision of team members
Facilitation of procurement of goods and services
Financial reporting
Facilitating and participating in special projects
Fostering ongoing communication with departments
Leading continuous customer service and business process improvement
Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Related Field
Experience in higher education business operations, with additional preference to those familiar with KSU policies, procedures and systems
Supervisory Experience
Excellent Written Communication and Customer Service Skills
Expertise in Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel and Word
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
Nice to have:
