Job Description

The Business Manager and Head of Strategy: CEO Office will be responsible to facilitate, manage and evaluate strategic & operational projects coordinated from the CEO’s office. The role will drive strategic direction by delivering high-quality operational insights, business analysis, and strategic advice to the CEO.

Job Responsibility

  • Facilitate, manage and evaluate strategic & operational projects coordinated from the CEO’s office
  • Drive strategic direction by delivering high-quality operational insights, business analysis, and strategic advice to the CEO
  • Taking of actions in Management meetings and follow up on agreed action points
  • Preparation of presentations for the Board meetings, senior management meetings, strategic meetings, and in country review meetings etc. on behalf of the CEO
  • Assist with the preparation of the quarterly Board pack
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to facilitate and prepare financial analysis of the different divisions and the company as a whole
  • Engage with the senior management team on strategic and operational matters and follow ups on behalf of the CEO
  • Work with the CEO and EXCO to develop, communicate and implement the long-term strategy for Tanzania
  • Work closely with the Group Strategy team to ensure consistency and alignment to the Group strategic direction
  • Support the delivery of special strategic projects for Tanzania, ensuring alignment and focus across the business
  • Drive the thought leadership agenda for Vodacom, with strong understanding of global technology and telco trends
  • Develop a strong understanding of the global strategic priorities from Vodacom Group and Vodafone
