Job Description

An established private homecare provider is looking to appoint a commercially minded Business Manager / Registered Manager to lead and grow its Bristol branch. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving branch performance, increasing care hours, managing operational delivery, and maintaining excellent CQC standards. The service currently delivers approximately 800 hours of care per week, with a clear growth plan to exceed 1,000 hours within the next 12 months. This role would suit an ambitious Registered Manager or senior domiciliary care leader who enjoys balancing operational leadership with commercial growth and business development.

Job Responsibility

  • Holding CQC Registered Manager responsibility for the service
  • Leading and developing a high-performing domiciliary care team
  • Managing branch performance including care hours, growth targets, and operational KPIs
  • Driving commercial growth and service development
  • Working closely with the business development team to grow private care packages
  • Ensuring excellent compliance, quality, and safeguarding standards
  • Managing staffing levels, rotas, and operational delivery
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, and referral partners
  • Monitoring branch performance and preparing management reports for senior leadership

Requirements

  • Experience as a Registered Manager or senior manager within domiciliary care

  • Evidence of growing care hours or improving service performance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Understanding of branch financial performance, margins, and operational KPIs
  • Full UK driving licence
