Job Description

The Lead Business Analyst is a Senior level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance, and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Job Responsibility

  • Create Business and Function Requirements
  • Lead/Manage Client Deliverables and Book of Work
  • Provide Direction and Technical Leadership on complex, high-impact projects
  • Data Modelling, Mapping, Mining and Transformation
  • Work closely with IT, PM and Operations partners
  • Develop Interfaces - Web GUI / API
  • Work with Data Providers Vendors (Internal & External)
  • Define EPICs and User Stories based on Client Requirements
  • Work with Stakeholders
  • Documentation and User Training

Requirements

  • Working with Clients and capture Business Requirement
  • Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
  • SQL Proficiency
  • Validation and Testing in collaboration with Dev/QA/Operations
  • Understanding of Data Model
  • Vendor/Data Source Hierarchy for Golden Copy
  • Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
  • College degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure
  • Data Oriented with an excellent attention to detail
  • Proven relevant experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven interpersonal skills with ability to partner and influence across organizational lines
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
