You’ll serve as the Group’s authoritative owner of key management information and performance indicators, ensuring consistent definitions, data lineage and business logic across all business units. The role acts as a key partner to the Group Executive, BU Managing/Executive Directors and Group FD, bridging finance, operations, technology and product. The role owns Group‑wide metric definitions, partners with senior leadership to shape business decisions and leads the BI function in delivering automated, accurate and actionable insights. This includes driving the evolution of the Group’s data architecture, improving data quality and system integrations, and providing expert analysis on profitability, pricing, forecasting and strategic scenarios across all Business Units, namely Platform, Asset Management, Banking and Group Services.
Job Responsibility:
Production of Key Management Information and Performance Indicators
Forecasting and production/analysis of potential future business/financial scenarios
Review of data available in core systems and recommend improvements to aid production of business information and transition of data stored and maintained in data warehouse
Ensure team objectives align with Group OKRs and manage the team to successful delivery
Coach BI analysts, define BI development standards
Run team workload management, sprint planning and prioritisation
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of full Microsoft package, in particular Power BI, Excel and Dynamics CRM
A good level of knowledge of SQL and DAX
Good understanding of financial services products and typical behaviours across Platform, Asset Management and Banking sectors
Experience designing cost allocation methodologies and profitability models
Experience overseeing change impacts on MI (for example: system upgrades, product launches, new jurisdictions)
Detail-oriented, desire to understand how the businesses work and how core systems interact with each other
Strong presentation skills and ability to illustrate key concepts clearly to senior stakeholders
A good working knowledge of financial reporting and ability to transform this data into BI/MI models
Proven ability to both manage an effective team and work as part of a team, and collaborate with other stakeholders across the business
Good organisational skills, ability to manage competing priorities and able to work / adhere to deadlines
Able to work autonomously where required and a mindset for problem solving/analysis
Able to challenge stakeholders and peers when managing requests
Willingness to develop knowledge and expand role and responsibilities
