Job Description

Contribute to the development of innovative Business Intelligence applications and take part in SOCOMEC’s data transformation, supporting commercial performance. You will join an engaged, international team. You will be part of the Sales Performance team within the Group Sales Department, a key partner to sales teams and an expert in performance management through modern BI tools. Within the BI & Data Management team, you will contribute to the development, enhancement and adoption of Business Intelligence applications on a global scale.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and deploy new BI applications
  • Understand business users’ needs and translate them into clear functional specifications
  • Test new features and contribute to validation phases
  • Support users in adopting new functionalities (documentation, training sessions, mini-guides)
  • Enhance existing BI tools
  • Identify improvement opportunities for existing applications
  • Monitor fixes and optimisations, prioritising quick wins to rapidly improve solution efficiency
  • Maintain clear, structured and up-to-date documentation
  • Animate the BI community
  • Facilitate sessions with Key Users
  • Create educational content (tutorials, videos, tips)
  • Organise feedback sessions to continuously improve BI applications
  • Test ideas and prototype solutions
  • Develop small prototypes (FAQs, automations, lightweight tools)
  • Propose new solutions to simplify users’ daily work

Requirements

  • Currently preparing a Master’s degree (BAC +5) in Computer Science, Project Management or Business
  • Looking for a 24-month work-study program
  • Strong interest in data analytics, analysis and BI environments
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and business applications, particularly BI and reporting tools
  • English level of B2 minimum

Nice to have

  • Initial knowledge or exposure to Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Qlik Sense)
  • Awareness of CRM / ERP environments
  • Interest or experience in creating educational materials (videos, tutorials)
  • Organisation & attention to detail
  • Communication & teaching skills
  • Autonomy & initiative
