This newly created, specialist position is a strategic evolution of the organisation's commercial function. As the Business Intelligence Lead, you will be the engine room of the Business Development team, providing the high-level market research and actionable insights required to fuel regional expansion. This is a research-focused remit where you will be set back from frontline commissioning relationships to focus on deep-dive analysis.
Job Responsibility:
Developing an annual programme of business intelligence to support a 6-month strategic growth roadmap
Producing monthly intelligence outputs covering local authority commissioners, competitors, and M&A activity within the social care sector
Translating complex documents, such as Market Position Statements and housing strategies, into actionable insights
Analysing competitor financial statements and market trends to identify growth opportunities
Researching the regional housing market to identify suitable accommodation options for supported living and residential models.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years in a role involving market analysis
Solid understanding of Health & Social Care (Supported Living, Mental Health hospitals, and Residential settings)
Strong presentation skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Knowledge of AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, is highly desirable
A degree and a strong academic foundation (Good A-Level in Maths or Science)
A self-starter who is curious, highly organised, and comfortable shaping a new remit within a small, high-impact team.
