The Business Intelligence Intern supports the Data & Analytics team in developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions that power marketing insights for our clients. This role provides hands-on exposure to modern analytics workflows in an agency environment. The intern will work closely with both the Business Intelligence and Digital Analytics teams to help validate data, support dashboard development, and assist with the preparation of marketing and digital analytics datasets used in reporting and analysis. This position is designed as both a learning opportunity and a potential pipeline to full-time analytics roles, giving interns exposure to real marketing data, digital analytics data, analytics tools, and business decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with data validation and quality assurance to ensure marketing and digital analytics data is accurate and consistent across reporting systems
Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and automated reports used by internal teams and client stakeholders
Perform basic SQL queries to explore datasets and help prepare data for analysis
Help document data definitions, reporting methodologies, and analytics workflows to support team knowledge sharing
Assist with cleaning and modeling datasets from marketing platforms, digital analytics tools, and other data sources
Collaborate with BI engineers and digital analysts to support reporting updates and data investigations
Participate in team discussions to understand how data informs marketing performance, user behavior, and business decisions
Requirements:
Current upper-level undergraduate student or early-career professional interested in data, analytics, or marketing technology
Foundational knowledge of SQL and basic statistics
Interest in working with data warehouses and business intelligence tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in data
Comfort working with structured datasets and learning new technical tools
Strong communication skills and curiosity about how data supports business decisions
Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Nice to have:
Experience with dashboard tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
Coursework or projects involving data analysis, reporting, or visualization
Familiarity with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4) or similar tools
