You will lead the Business Intelligence function in India to help shape insights, guide decisions and drive performance. You will build and develop a skilled analytics team. You will work closely with commercial, digital, finance and technology partners across the region.
Job Responsibility:
Apply analytics and business acumen to diagnose external sales performance issues, data issues, and generate insights along with recommendations
Leverage modern data visualization and analytics technologies to create dynamic business dashboards
Promote the use of high-quality data and support a culture of fact-based decision-making
Stay abreast of Business Intelligence products and tools as well as business strategies and direction
Provide advisory to senior leaders and key stakeholders on optimizing business performance management
Highlight relevant insights from Marketing Mix Modelling analysis
Work with Tech to design, develop, and deploy dashboards and analytics reports
Query data from database systems to provide ad-hoc project and analyses
Implement the governance and principles behind management of secondary data
Manage scope of work in accordance to GSK ethics & compliance and legal remit
Oversee Budgets, forecasting and audit
Requirements:
MBA or Advanced Degree in Statistics
7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG industry, particularly in leading business analytics initiatives and execution
Direct experience in performing analytics and data visualizations involving business data and communicating insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
In-depth knowledge of either of the platforms Power BI, QlikSense, QlikView, Tableau, R, Python
High level of intellectual curiosity and learning agility
Ability to lead the development of new solutions
Nice to have:
Direct experience in a business partner/ commercial pharma role
