LINCOLNSHIRE POLICE JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Business Intelligence Developer GRADE: SG1 DEPARTMENT: IT ACCOUNTABLE TO: Data Architect (Data Team) STAFF MANAGED: 0 LOCATION/WORK BASE: Hybrid – Home/HQ JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The Power BI Developer will support the development, maintenance, and optimisation of the Force’s Microsoft Power BI estate. This includes designing and maintaining Power BI semantic models, datasets, dashboards, and dataflows to meet organisational reporting needs. The post holder will work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into effective BI solutions. They will collaborate with data engineers to produce technical design documentation and ensure that all developments align with Force standards, governance, and security requirements. It is essential for the post holder to create and maintain positive communications to ensure effective working relationships with individuals, teams, and colleagues. All staff must demonstrate Force values and operate in accordance with the Code of Ethics.
