  • Write and refine complex SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure data is retrieved efficiently
  • Work with business leaders to translate high-level requirements into technical specifications and meaningful KPIs
  • Implement AI-driven features like Microsoft Copilot for natural language querying and automated narrative summaries within reports
  • Troubleshoot system issues and implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to protect sensitive data

Requirements

  • Expert proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (including DAX and Power Query) or Tableau
  • Strong knowledge of DBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis and scripting
  • Understanding business logic and financial metrics
  • Ability to explain complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly
  • Proactive analytical thinking to identify trends and data anomalies
