We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to support data reporting, analytics, and insight generation for the organization in New Braunfels, Texas. This position is suited for someone who can turn complex business data into clear, practical reporting solutions while working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, sound technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate findings in a way that supports informed business decisions.
Job Responsibility
Design, build, and maintain business intelligence solutions that convert operational data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and performance metrics
Develop and optimize data models, queries, and reporting structures using Microsoft SQL technologies, including stored procedures and related database objects
Create and enhance Power BI dashboards and visualizations that help business users monitor trends, measure outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement
Support ETL processes by preparing, transforming, and validating data from multiple sources to ensure reliable reporting and analysis
Investigate reporting issues, troubleshoot data inconsistencies, and resolve technical problems affecting analytics tools and data delivery
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather reporting needs, translate business goals into technical solutions, and present information in a clear, user-friendly format
Produce training materials and end-user documentation to improve adoption and effective use of BI tools and technical systems
Research emerging tools, technologies, and software options to strengthen reporting capabilities and improve overall business intelligence practices
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience with business intelligence platforms and reporting technologies, including Microsoft Power BI
Working knowledge of T-SQL, database development concepts, and Microsoft SQL Server tools such as Management Studio
Hands-on experience with ETL processes and related technologies such as SSIS, SSRS, or SSAS
Familiarity with Python or another analytics or machine learning language used for data processing and problem-solving
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to end users and business stakeholders
Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Understanding of data privacy standards, business systems principles, and documentation practices for technical environments
