Job Description:

The role of Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst ensures HammondCare gets the best value from its investment in business systems. This is a 6 month contract role based at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities. The successful candidate must be able to start immediately.

Job Responsibility:

Business Requirements Gathering: Engaging with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for data analysis
Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering data from various sources, including databases, external data sources, and analysing it to identify trends and insights
Reporting: Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Data Visualization: Utilising data visualization tools (PowerBI) to present data in a visually appealing and understandable manner
Data Quality Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data by implementing data quality checks and validation processes
Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in BI and analytics
Training and Support: Providing training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports

Requirements:

At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role with strong technical background in business intelligence and data analytics
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
Proven experience as an end-to-end Power BI Dataset Modelling
Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query
Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and SQL
Practical experience with database systems, SQL queries and dimensional data modelling
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail

Nice to have:

Experience with SSIS, Microsoft Fabric Data Pipeline, ADF, or similar ETL tools
Post graduate qualifications in business administration or technology discipline
Professional certifications in areas of business analysis, data architecture, ITIL, analytics or related accreditations
Knowledge of Salesforce, Epicor and Workday
