Job Description

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, the beneficiary’s job duties will include: ● Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support organizational decision-making. ● Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions. ● Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs). ● Conduct data quality assessments and implement data validation processes to ensure reliability of analytical outputs. ● Perform ad hoc analysis and present findings to business stakeholders and senior management to support strategic planning and operations. ● Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within business data and provide actionable recommendations to business leaders. ● Work with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, and Technology to understand reporting needs and deliver timely analytical solutions. ● Monitor and maintain existing BI infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and data discrepancies. ● Assist in the evaluation and adoption of new BI tools and technologies to improve analytical capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field
  • Related experience in business intelligence, data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and business data management
  • Strong experience working with SQL, data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and relational database management systems
  • Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, data validation, data transformation, and data quality management techniques
  • Experience gathering business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and data migration methodologies using tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or similar technologies is preferred
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data extraction, cleansing, aggregation, and reporting activities
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, star schema, snowflake schema, and data governance principles
  • Experience with cloud-based analytics and reporting platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and version control practices is preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and other reporting and analytics tools
  • Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs), business metrics, forecasting, trend analysis, and decision-support systems
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, dashboards, presentations, and data visualizations
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
