Business Intelligence Analyst

• Taking shared responsibility for the business intelligence governance process to drive a ‘single version of the truth’ agenda,and ensure a consistent stakeholder experience
• Acquisition of data
• link in with multiple stakeholders to create and deliver technical solution to extract, transform and load data
• Providing data to those who require it, by understanding end user needs, providing appropriate data and data solutions, to Analysts, IT and non-technical colleagues (including where required 3rd parties)
• Analysing and documenting of business requirements, to design and write analytical business reports. This should include test of data and design validation for quality output
• Discovering, documenting and applying best practice research and analysis as part of the Business Intelligence continuous improvement agenda

• Expert in SAP BW on Hana and Hana studio
• HANA technology (Attribute, Analytical, Calculation views)
• Expert in relevant technologies, including Power BI and SAP Business Objects
• Experience of Bex Query Analyser is advantageous
• Proven track record of Business Intelligence analysis in a pressurised and commercially focussed business environment
• Strong time management and self-organisational skills
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and precisely with key stakeholders at all levels
• IT literate, particularly with advanced Excel, Access and SQL
• Good commercial acumen and excellent understanding of relevant parts of the Arco business and its key performance indicators
