Business Intelligence Analyst Permanent Position! Job Summary: Tasks and Activities: As a Business Intelligence Analyst, the beneficiary’s job duties will include: ● Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, and closing data engineering and business intelligence projects. Drive and ship all aspects of large, cross-functional data pipelines, analytics platforms, and dashboarding feature areas. ● Develop and execute data analytics plans, document requirements, define scope, risks, data governance deliverables, resource allocation, and timeline budgets. ● Plan, direct, and complete deep-dive analysis of data systems to support strategic business requirements and act as a crucial liaison between business stakeholders and IT/Data Engineering teams. ● Gather functional and technical data requirements for data warehouse enhancements, reporting tools, and new analytics projects. ● Drive metrics and KPI definitions sign-off and facilitate change orders for evolving data logic. ● Create 'as is' and 'to be' data models, architectural diagrams of data functionality, and reporting processes. ● Perform data gap analysis and create a structured roadmap to transition from the current siloed state to a mature, unified data ecosystem. ● Work closely with Solution Leads and Data Architects to turn raw business requirements into scalable analytics and reporting solutions. ● Collaborate with other regional analytics members on large, cross-functional, cross-regional data science and intelligence initiatives. ● Facilitate user testing and validation of all new dashboards, reports, and data models with Engineering Leads and Business Stakeholders. ● Appropriately escalate data quality risks, system anomalies, and project issues to management. ● Manage Sprint Planning for the BI team and coordinate with Data Engineering management to optimize ETL/ELT throughput and analyst resource utilization. ● Proactively and tactfully address data discrepancies and reporting concerns with cross-functional teams when data quality problems persist. ● Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions for reporting tools and design comprehensive Data Validation and Testing Strategies. ● Other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
