As a Financial Data Analyst, you will be embedded within a high-performing team focused on Clarity financial management. Your primary mission is to extract, analyze, and reconcile large datasets to identify financial discrepancies, determine their root causes, and coordinate with stakeholders to implement fixes within the financial reporting cycle. This role requires a unique blend of sharp technical skills (advanced Excel and Clarity), a strong understanding of corporate financial data, and the communication prowess needed to collaborate effectively across internal segments and vendor networks.
Job Responsibility
Data Extraction & Analysis: Regularly extract complex financial data from the organization's financial book of record (Clarity)
Discrepancy Investigation: Assess financial data to confirm transaction accuracy, identify discrepancies, and investigate root causations
Action Planning: Summarize your analytical findings and create structured plans to address required financial fixes within tight reporting cycles
Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead and coordinate with internal stakeholders, resources, and external vendors to ensure financial corrections are executed properly and efficiently
Process Optimization: Continuously assess existing workflows to find opportunities to improve and streamline processes for future financial reporting cycles
Meeting Participation: Dedicate 2 to 3 hours a day collaborating in meetings to align on financial resolutions and project tracking
Requirements
5 to 7 years of overall experience working with financial data analysis within a large corporate environment
