Job Responsibility

  • Strategic Leadership: Implement regional strategies for the PL Membranes & Fibres aligned with the global objectives of the Membranes & Fibres PL. Engage and support in regional strategic projects (mainly strategic partnership, etc)
  • Sales and Market Expansion and KPIs : Develop and execute sales strategies for the PL Membranes & Fibres to achieve targets and expand the customer base. Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities for Membranes. Ensure regional performance aligns with and contributes to the achievement of global key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the PL Membranes & Fibres
  • Financial Management: Manage the regional budget, including forecasting (incl. MTP), resource allocation, and expense management to maximize profitability for PL Membranes & Fibres
  • Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain key customer relationships, acting as a senior point of contact for major regional clients and partners for PL Membranes & Fibres
  • Regional Innovation: Provide support to innovations by developing leads and new accounts for new products fulfilling local market requirement, aligning with regional RDI organization and the global PL Membranes & Fibres management
  • Organization Development: Lead, motivate, and develop the regional PL Membranes & Fibres organization, fostering a culture of collaboration and performance in the region
  • Compliance and Ethics: Oversee compliance with company policies and government regulations within the region, ensuring all operations adhere to legal and ethical standards
  • Safety: Ensure the highest standards of safety across all regional operations. Enforce safety protocols and procedures to protect employees, customers, and the environment. Lead initiatives to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in safety performance

Requirements

  • University (First degree), major in process engineering or chemical engineering is preferred
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in commercial or project management functions of process or chemical engineering firms, gas separation engineering or equipment companies, EPC contractors, or senior commercial and project manager at major oil & gas companies
  • Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes
  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements
  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives
  • Acts independently to apply comprehensive understanding of the business environment and objectives developing solutions while providing guidance and training to others
