The Business Functional Analyst role at NTT DATA involves supporting the migration from Avaya UC to Microsoft Teams Voice. Job Responsibility:
Perform detailed data and functional analysis to support migration from Avaya UC to Microsoft Teams Voice
Analyse, validate and reconcile telephony inventories including DIDs, number ranges, routing paths and carrier information
Support number lifecycle management including porting coordination and carrier engagement
Track and manage porting formats, regulatory requirements and local numbering compliance (Romania)
Produce and maintain migration wave plans, number mapping documentation and transition trackers
Support Operator Connect and Direct Routing deployment analysis within Microsoft Teams
Assist with troubleshooting and validation of enterprise telephony configurations including SIP, SBC behaviour and PSTN fundamentals
Use network troubleshooting tools and QoS/VoIP testing methodologies to support issue analysis
Maintain RAID logs, status reports and executive-ready reporting documentation
Capture meeting minutes, action logs and governance documentation
Collaborate with engineering teams and customer stakeholders to ensure accuracy, readiness and successful cutover execution
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in a Project Analyst, Project Coordinator or similar analytical support role within IT or telecom environments
Strong understanding of Unified Communications systems and enterprise telephony principles
Knowledge of DIDs, SIP, SBC behaviour, number routing, carrier porting rules and PSTN fundamentals
Experience supporting Microsoft Teams telephony (Operator Connect, Direct Routing and Teams Voice features)
Familiarity with telecom carrier portals, porting formats and global numbering regulations
Exposure to network troubleshooting tools and VoIP/QoS validation approaches
Strong analytical capability — able to gather, interpret and present complex data clearly and accurately
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including production of reports, trackers and governance documentation
A structured, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work within defined programme timelines
