About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President within the I&P CIB Front Office COO Business Solution and Enablement (BSE) group and is responsible for end-to-end product ownership and delivery of Lending and Client platforms, while managing and developing a team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, and delivery resources. The incumbent will operate as a product leader and people manager, accountable for strategy execution, delivery outcomes, talent development, and operational resilience for a defined product portfolio. The role requires direct engagement with senior and executive stakeholders globally and ownership of resource planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery governance for the product area.

Job Responsibility

  • Own end-to-end execution and delivery of Lending and Client products, including roadmap delivery, backlog prioritization, sprint execution, and release management
  • Define and maintain product strategy, roadmap, and target-state solutions aligned to business priorities and regulatory requirements
  • Break down complex initiatives into capabilities, features, and user stories, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and delivery metrics
  • Track and report delivery schedules, SLAs, scope, risks, dependencies, and key performance indicators, proactively escalating issues and bottlenecks to stakeholders
  • Partner with Technology, Risk, Controls, and Operations teams to ensure regulatory compliance, strong control environment, and operational stability
  • Manage, develop, and mentor a team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, and delivery staff supporting Lending and Client platforms
  • Provide coaching, performance management, and career development for direct reports, including goal setting, feedback, and succession planning
  • Lead hiring efforts by identifying skill gaps, interviewing candidates, and building a sustainable product talent pipeline
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and creative problem-solving across the product team
  • Allocate and optimize people capacity to balance BAU, change, regulatory, and transformation priorities
  • Engage business stakeholders to integrate and implement complex business execution initiatives across Lending and Client portfolios
  • Interact directly with senior and executive management to influence priorities, negotiate trade-offs, and optimize delivery outcomes
  • Translate strategy into execution by interpreting and shaping policies, procedures, and operating practices aligned to line-of-business objectives
  • Drive executive-ready communication, including portfolio reviews, governance updates, and decision papers
  • Identify and recommend process improvements, redesign opportunities, and change initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and risk outcomes
  • Own and monitor risk and control metrics (KRIs/KPIs), partnering with Operational Risk to manage issues and corrective actions
  • Ensure adherence to Wells Fargo policies, regulatory expectations, and control standards across the product lifecycle
  • Manage allocation of financial and human resources for Product Owners within the product portfolio
  • Support planning activities including capacity planning, investment prioritization, and demand management

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years Leadership experience
