Job Description:

The Homefront Heroes Hiring (HHH) Program is designed to attract and hire spouses and domestic partners of actively serving military personnel to career opportunities through a military spouse-specific virtual hiring event and onboarding program. In this role, the Business Execution Consultant will perform data analysis, collaborate on reporting enhancements, execute compliance procedures, construct executive presentations, and manage oversight of hardware/software end-of-support risks with a focus on driving process improvements and enhancing governance maturity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint to organize complex data – summarizing trends and recommendations for decisions - into consumable, executive leadership presentations
  • Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements, risk reduction and root cause identification
  • Collaborate with reporting resources on development and maintenance of Power BI Reporting visualizations to enable stakeholders to effectively manage their hardware and software support risk
  • Ensure team procedures are clear and maintained
  • Execute Vendor End of Support controls and ensure compliance with associated control procedures and evidence collection
  • Perform quality assurance on all communication materials, presentations, and templates with a focus on zero errors and consistent messaging
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor process maturity opportunities and collaborate with teammates to plan and implement those enhancements
  • Learn all functions within the team in order to provide coverage and support of teammates in meetings, projects and tasks related to oversight of hardware and software end of support governance
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships across the team, technology partners and product owners to enhance the management of hardware and software end of support governance and execution
  • Look at data to identify potential risk opportunities, raise those risks to responsible parties and follow-through to ensure risks are escalated to senior leadership for awareness
  • Collaborates across a small team and with key partners to drive maturity improvements in reporting, governance and management of hardware and software reaching or past vendor support
  • Conduct UAT of ServiceNow story points related to Vendor End of Support (VEoS) stories and reporting enhancements
  • Management of Knowledge Articles related to Vendor End of Support (VEoS)
  • Construct, execute and engage in communications with Asset Class Owners and Technology Standards Center (TSC) Product Owners to drive improvements in the management of hardware and software reaching or past vendor support
  • Construct executive management PowerPoint materials to provide oversight and governance of hardware and software reaching or past vendor support

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 1+ years of experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel

Nice to have:

  • Experience performing data analysis in Excel (trending, issues and root cause identification)
  • Experience representing data and information in PowerPoint Presentations to Executive Leadership to enable business decisions
  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Inquisitive nature able to look at information to arrive at recommendations and drive results
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead and operate collaboratively, execution focused and results oriented
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to produce a copy of military orders including applicant name
