Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Associate Manager role for Testing and Technical Support Group as part of WIM UAT team. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com. As part of the centralization of UAT testing strategy, a UAT COE is formed at Wells Fargo India & Philippines. The potential candidates are required to have functional knowledge of retail core operations, in-depth understanding of the WIM with hands-on experience of UAT, QA & SIT in their current or previous roles. Resources under this position's leadership will provide test execution support to complex projects or initiatives with multiple technology partners. With the adoption of the agile development methodology, the business has assumed an even broader role in ensuring that product components work as designed via the orchestration of multiple applications and data stores utilized across the banking ecosystem to meet customer and end user needs

Job Responsibility:

  • Creation of test strategy, test plans, test scripts, script execution for Retail Core Operations applications
  • Perform Manual and automated testing
  • Lead the BRD and FSD reviews
  • Prepare and provide status reporting, defect triage, test summary, testing traceability
  • Lead meetings and reviews as needed with Operations and other stakeholders
  • Agile testing responsibilities include: grooming sessions, sprint planning and participation, daily SCRUM calls
  • Partner & lead the interactions with the Line of Business, Risk/Compliance, and technology partners across Operations
  • Influence & manage the stakeholders across Operations, Technology & Product teams
  • Perform manual and automated testing
  • Consult with users providing advice and direction
  • Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
  • Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
  • Research system features being tested
  • Partner with Engineers to develop testing strategy
  • Log, track and verify resolution of software and specification defects
  • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff
  • Motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team member

Requirements:

  • Overall 12 plus years of experience in the Banking industry
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related field and relevant work experience
  • 8+ years of in-depth knowledge of WIM
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
  • Hands on experience with Retail Banking application is preferred
  • Hands on expertise with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, Confluence etc…
  • Hands on experience in automation will be an added advantage
  • Experience in User Acceptance development & implementation
  • Knowledge and in depth understanding of business tools and processes
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
