Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Actively share knowledge and provide technical and functional guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative environment
Identify and implement potential improvements in processes or products, taking calculated risks to develop innovative ideas
Solve moderately complex problems within the area of expertise and assist with issues outside the department when necessary
Oversee operational activities to support short-term departmental goals and manage multiple projects involving cross-functional teams
Recognize the need for development in others, collaborate to create development plans, and manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, coaching, and ongoing assessment
Solicit input, explain complex concepts, and persuade others to adopt a point of view while effectively sharing personal perspectives and rationales
Lead and direct Logistics and Distribution operations, including supplier selection, contract implementation, compliance, and performance management
Develop and analyze metrics to monitor operational performance, ensuring timely availability of materials and deployment of controlled temperature shipping technologies
Contribute to global, cross-functional continuous improvement strategies, support decision-making on country feasibility and study strategy, and lead meetings to resolve logistics incidents and enhance quality and compliance
Requirements:
BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 2 years of experience or PhD/JD with any years of experience or associate's degree with at least 8 years of experience or high School Diploma (or Equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in system validation and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle
Ability to effectively drive results while collaborating with stakeholders at various levels
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong competency with various tools
Experience in people management
Nice to have:
Master's degree with relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Advanced training in project management, supply chain management, scientific or clinical disciplines, business administration, and people development
A deep understanding of regulatory guidelines impacting logistics system requirements
