Job Description

Our Growth team is looking for Business Development Support to help support with the daily activities surrounding our growth initiatives. The primary function of this role is to support with a variety of projects within the business development function. This is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative team with a varied workload that provides the chance to develop your skills and network.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the day-to-day administrative operations of the team, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of activities
  • Maintain and update databases and CRM systems, including managing registrations, client accounts, and contact information to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Provide ongoing support for the CRM system, including delivering training, handling ad-hoc queries, performing bulk uploads, and ensuring overall data quality and system reliability
  • Monitor consistency across different systems through regular reconciliations
  • Support with the analyses of engagement and performance metrics
  • Assist with monthly reporting and analysis for Partners and other stakeholders
  • Support the preparation and distribution of internal communications, ensuring clear and effective messaging across the firm
  • Research relevant local events, maintain our events community, and prepare targeted communications for Senior Managers and Partners
  • Assist with client feedback initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across teams, managing stakeholder expectations and supporting cross-functional collaboration
  • Escalate complex queries appropriately, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Continuously explore CRM functionality, promote best practices, and contribute to service improvement initiatives across the team

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations

  • Execution: Involve problem frame-works, develop hypotheses, test and analysis, solution development, scope operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts and develop a monitoring plan
  • Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service and profitability
