Job Description:

As the Business Development Support Intern, you will be part of the Broker Channel Team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Development Manager in various aspects of the broker channel’s growth and development. This includes generating quotations, coordinating processes, updating reports, and facilitating communication with brokers.

Job Responsibility:

Generating Motor Quotations with guided checklist and rater
Facilitating new business, endorsements and renewal procurement process with internal stakeholders ie policy management team
Update sales report and pipeline reporting
Coordinate with Brokers on Motor Fleet business on new vehicle updates
Cover Note issuances for all lines of business
Generate Non-Motor quotation using internal Pricer guide
Extract claims data for BDM to facilitate renewal discussion
Any other duties as and when deemed necessary to facilitate and improve in the business development process

Requirements:

Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both written and spoken
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word (including mail merge), Excel (including pivot tables), and PowerPoint
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, dependability, and conscientiousness
Collaborative team player
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
