We are looking for a leader who will focus on enterprise cloud-native and open platforms to drive platform strategy, partner alignment, and enterprise adoption across general IT solutions. The successful candidate will own AMD’s engagement and positioning around open, cloud‑native, and Linux‑based platforms, with a primary focus on enterprise modernization journeys spanning virtualization, containers, and AI‑ready infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for the overall strategy, strategic partnerships, competitive positioning and value proposition development, and for leading our sales and marketing teams to grow pipeline and drive growth.
Job Responsibility:
Define and implement key strategies to grow AMD’s server business in enterprise cloud-native platforms
Work with OS/platform partners to drive AMD qualifications and certifications and deliver critical solutions to market
Deepen partnerships with partners, with a focus on establishing joint go-to-market plans to accelerate business growth
Partner with strategic ISVs to co-develop enterprise AI platforms with CPU + GPU-powered solutions
Work with OEMs, channel partners, and GSIs to converge on solutions and help address end-customer needs
Enabling Sales with targeted plays, collateral, and training to grow AMD’s server business in manufacturing
Identify customer challenges and translate them into a compelling value proposition—ideally from chip-level technology into system-level solutions
Develop relationships across the sales teams to identify and build a harmonious approach to broadening AMD's business in key accounts
Requirements:
Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in a comparable role, owning the success of driving a vertical- and workload-focused approach
Technical Experience: An established background in the data center business, with at least 5 years of experience working with platform partners like Red Hat, SUSE, Canonical, etc.
Customer Experience: Strong historical interaction and relationship building with key customers
Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred. MBA is a plus.
