We are seeking a Business Development Specialist (Sales) who will play a key role in driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and positioning Wappnet as a trusted technology partner. The ideal candidate has solid experience in IT services or solutions sales, a consultative selling approach, and a proven track record of closing high-value deals.
Job Responsibility:
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across India and global markets
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers such as CXOs, Founders, and IT Heads
Create and deliver engaging sales pitches, proposals, and client presentations
Collaborate with technical teams to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Track sales activities within the CRM and prepare performance reports for management
Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities and industry trends
Develop strategic outreach plans to target potential clients effectively
Ensure all client communication is timely, professional, and aligned with company objectives
Participate in sales meetings, networking events, and industry conferences
Maintain accurate documentation of sales processes, client interactions, and progress updates
Requirements:
Strong understanding of IT services, including custom software, mobile apps, AI, SaaS, and cloud solutions
Proficiency in CRM tools for lead tracking, forecasting, and reporting
Ability to create persuasive sales proposals and presentations
Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices for B2B environments
3–7 years of proven experience in B2B sales, IT services sales, or software solutions sales
Experience dealing with enterprise clients and international markets
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong presentation and client engagement abilities
Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive approach to sales
Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment
Strong relationship-building and networking skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
4–7 years of relevant experience in IT services or solutions sales
Proven ability to manage end-to-end sales cycles and exceed revenue targets
