Pursuit Team Business Development Specialists (BDS) are at the heart of growing the Business market share for VodafoneThree. Typically, the Pursuit BDS role has a territory of low spending Enterprise customers between 80-150 organisations, these are within in the 250+ employee customer size space, but this can vary depending on the territory being covered. This can also cover larger prospect organisations, where some strategic engagement and longer-term sales cycles could be relevant. The role is a mix of direct sales, and also 'sell with' on larger opportunities, where you will work hand-in-hand with a field BDS/BDM/Strategic BDM. The role will focus on finding new revenue opportunities within these high potential organisations to hunt business not currently with Vodafone and secure this revenue away from their incumbent providers. You will be central in achieving a step change in delivering continued growth for Enterprise business and will be working customers on digital transformation & potentially complex multi-product bids. Adoption and implementation of the Vodafone Way of Selling, will be critical to success. BDS’s will engage low spending organisations, identifying the business challenges faced by those prospect customers and will disrupt our competitors by leveraging the Vodafone business leading portfolio. This includes Mobility, Connectivity, Cloud, Hosting, Security, Unified Communications & Internet Of Things, all of can deliver business outcomes that help these organisations meet their own goals. In doing so, this in turn grows our business revenues via these organisations joining Vodafone as new customers.

Requirements:
Demonstrative track record of creating new business pipeline via self generation, either pure new logo or within an account management role
Technically aware, able to understand complex technical concepts and solutions
Experience in a telco/tech or comparable competitive, fast paced and complex environment
Track record of success achieving targets and experience in a direct sales environment as an individual contributor
Ability to engage at the highest levels both internally & within target organisations
IT literate and some experience of using Sales Tools e.g. CRM systems, Linkedin Sales Navigator, High Spot
Track record of collaboration and team work in a professional environment
