This role is accountable for rebuilding and accelerating growth in the Australia & New Zealand market by driving field sales performance, developing independent distributor leadership, and increasing customer acquisition, retention, and rank advancement. Success is measured by market growth, leadership depth, and sustained engagement. The Business Development Specialist partners with the Sales Director and International Headquarters Sales teams to execute locally relevant strategies that mobilize the field, strengthen community connections, and position Plexus as a leading health and wellness brand.
Job Responsibility:
Rebuild and scale the AU/NZ market with consistent new distributor sign-ups, rank advancements, and retention
Develop strong local leadership pipelines that drive sustainable field growth
Increase customer and Ambassador retention to 55%+
Establish Plexus as a recognized wellness leader in the local community
Execute and support Australia-specific field sales strategies that drive measurable growth
Recruit, train, and mentor independent distributors to build sustainable businesses
Track sales, rank, and retention data to exceed growth targets
Build strong relationships with local leaders, influencers, and community partners
Plan and deliver community-based events and initiatives that increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales
Deliver ongoing training, coaching, and leadership development
Create and localize training, marketing, and communication tools for the AU/NZ market
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and leadership forums that drive action and retention
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
Partner with marketing and product teams to localize messaging and promotions
Provide actionable field insights to inform corporate strategy and product development
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in Direct Selling / Network Marketing
Strong understanding of Australian culture and market dynamics
Valid driver’s license
ability to travel up to 25%
Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and performance reporting tools
