Inside Sales Business Development Specialists (IS-BDS) are at the heart of growing the Business market share for Vodafone UK. Typically, the IS-BDS role has a territory of Mid-Market (10-249 employee) Enterprise prospects between 400-600 organisations, but this can vary depending on the territory being covered. In addition, a key element of the role is seeking out other/new organisations to grow your own prospect base further, thus expanding Vodafone’s reach further into the market.
Job Responsibility:
Win 100% new logo business and develop high potential clients
Achieve a step change in delivering continued growth for Enterprise business
Work with management and director/board level customers on digital transformation & potentially complex multi-product bids
Engage new logo organisations, identifying the business challenges faced by those prospect customers
Disrupt competitors by leveraging the Vodafone business leading portfolio (Mobility, Connectivity, Cloud, Hosting, Security, Unified Communications & Internet Of Things)
Grow business revenues via new organisations joining Vodafone as new customers
Requirements:
Demonstrative track record of creating new business pipeline via self-generation in the Mid-Market space
Technically aware, able to understand technical concepts and solutions
Experience in a telco/tech or comparable competitive, fast paced and complex environment is advantageous
Track record of success achieving targets and experience in a direct sales environment as an individual contributor
Ability to engage at the highest levels both internally and within target organisations
IT literate and some experience of using Sales Tools e.g. CRM systems, Linkedin Sales Navigator, High Spot
