As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in driving growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting the conversion of prospects into long-term partnerships. Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will engage with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to commercial strategy, and help position Perspectum at the forefront of clinical trial innovation.
Job Responsibility:
Identifying and developing new business opportunities across pharma, biotech, and CRO organisations
Building and nurturing relationships with prospective clients and partners
Supporting the preparation of proposals, bids, and commercial materials
Conducting market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
Maintaining accurate client and prospect data within internal systems
Representing Perspectum at international conferences and industry events
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support successful project delivery
Requirements:
Experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles
Exposure to clinical trials, pharma, biotech, CROs, or medical devices (desirable, not essential)
A degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
A proactive mindset with a strong interest in healthcare innovation
