The Business Development Representative (BDR) will focus on new client acquisition for AI and IT staff augmentation services. The role owns outbound outreach → lead generation → qualification, setting the foundation for first deal closures involving billable IT resources.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct proactive outbound outreach using cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn campaigns
Identify and qualify new prospective end clients for IT staff augmentation services
Build a consistent pipeline through structured and repeatable prospecting efforts
Initiate first-level conversations to understand high-level hiring needs
Position AI and IT staff augmentation solutions aligned to client requirements
Schedule and drive discovery calls that convert into qualified staffing opportunities
Work closely with senior sales / business development leaders to move qualified opportunities toward closure
Ensure smooth handover of qualified requirements with clear documentation and context
Maintain accurate prospect, outreach, and opportunity data in CRM systems
Track outreach effectiveness, follow-ups, and pipeline progression
Requirements:
1–5 years of experience in IT staffing, staff augmentation, or contract staffing sales
Hands-on experience with cold outreach and outbound lead generation
Clear understanding of resource-based selling (roles, skill sets, rates, contracts)
Ability to articulate staffing value to business and technical stakeholders
Strong communication skills with persistence and follow-through
Proven hunter mindset with a strong focus on new business creation
Nice to have:
Exposure to US and/or Europe staffing markets
Prior experience as a BDR / SDR in IT staffing or talent augmentation
Familiarity with staffing buyers, delivery models, and hiring cycles
