Job Description:

Business Development Representative role at PagerDuty, serving as the first point of contact with potential customers and representing PagerDuty's brand and solutions to technology leaders across industries. This role is the foundation of the sales organization and a launching pad for a sales career.

Job Responsibility:

Execute targeted outbound campaigns using phone, email, video, and social selling techniques
Leverage sales intelligence tools to identify high-potential opportunities
Master PagerDuty's value proposition and communicate business impact
Conduct discovery conversations to uncover pain points
Qualify opportunities using established frameworks
Partner with Account Executives to develop account strategies
Maintain accurate records in Salesforce

Requirements:

1-2 years of outbound prospecting or relevant sales experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with modern sales technology stack (Salesforce, Sales Engagement Platforms)
Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline targets

Nice to have:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field
Previous SDR/BDR experience in technology sales
Proficiency with Salesforce.com and sales engagement platforms
Understanding of DevOps, ITOps, or related technical domains
