The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a targeted, commissioned role working in the Business Development Team that forms part of our Direct Sales team. Your job will be to source and qualify Leads, converting them into Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQO) that the Sales Team can then close as Deals.
Job Responsibility:
Source and qualify Leads, converting them into Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQO) that the Sales Team can then close as Deals
Source and manage a list of leads in order to create new opportunities with both Mid-Market and Enterprise businesses
Form trusted relationships with Sales and BDR Management, the wider Sales team, Marketing and Business Development Representative peers
Work the Leads in the CRM quickly and efficiently
Spend time on the phone speaking to prospects
Requirements:

Native-level communication in English (written and spoken)
Excellent written, verbal, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to cope with pressure without affecting performance or decision-making
Nice to have:
Previous experience in other high-pressure environments (e.g. competitive sports)
Some experience in a professional environment where contact with prospects and customers is a constant, ideally in a sales environment
Any experience using tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesloft, Cognism etc
An understanding of best practice structures and processes for Business Development Teams
An eye for recognising buying signals and understanding where Dotdigital can help Prospects
A general understanding of the Ecommerce Landscape
