We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative focused on K–12 education to drive sales and outreach initiatives, engage with school leaders, and set up qualified meetings. This role is high visibility, collaborates frequently with cross-functional teams, and is client-facing. It is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone looking to break into EdTech sales, with the training and support to build a strong foundation in education-focused business development.
Job Responsibility:
Outreach and Engagement: Proactively reach out to K–12 administrators, educators, and district leaders via email, phone, and social media
Educate prospects on how our tools support teachers and improve student learning
Lead Qualification and Meeting Setup: Qualify leads based on school or district needs, decision-making structure, and timeline
Schedule high-quality meetings for Account Executives and manage follow-ups
CRM and Collaboration: Track activity, outreach, and results in our CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce)
Collaborate with marketing on campaign feedback and outreach strategy
Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date on K–12 trends and challenges, including funding cycles and academic goals
Requirements:
