Baruch Senior Ministries, a nonprofit organization, is looking for a dynamic, motivated individual to be our Business Development Representative in northeast Michigan. The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving occupancy growth through strategic marketing, relationship building, and referral management. This role works closely with hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, physician offices, home health agencies, and community organizations. This is an outside sales and relationship-focused role in the senior living/healthcare space. The territory for this position will include Saginaw, Midland, Flushing, Standish, West Branch, and Hale.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to maintain and grow occupancy
Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health & hospice agencies, case managers and social workers, physician offices and community partners
Conduct community outreach and attend networking events
Track leads, inquiries, tours, and move-ins using CRM systems
Conduct tours for prospective residents and families
Collaborate with Executive Director and clinical team to ensure appropriate resident fit
Meet and exceed monthly census and move-in goals
Analyze market trends and competitor activity
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in senior living, healthcare sales, or assisted living marketing
Proven track record of meeting sales or occupancy goals
Strong understanding of the local healthcare referral network
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Existing referral relationships in the Northern Michigan healthcare market
