Job Description:

Solutia Consulting is seeking a sales professional to help grow client relationships in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This role is a strong fit for someone with at least 1 year of experience in consulting sales, IT staffing sales, technology services sales, or related business development. We are looking for someone who is strong at building relationships, staying in touch with prospects, and turning early conversations into long-term client opportunities. The right person will be professional, organized, and effective at nurturing accounts over time. This person should be comfortable generating new business through outreach, networking, and consultative selling, while also helping expand existing client relationships.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build relationships with technology leaders, hiring managers, and business stakeholders in the DFW market
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and follow-up
  • Nurture early-stage client relationships and maintain consistent communication with prospective accounts
  • Develop a clear understanding of client needs and help position Solutia’s consulting and technology service offerings accordingly
  • Support sales efforts across areas such as application development, project-based consulting, and technology staffing solutions
  • Schedule discovery meetings and help move opportunities through the sales process
  • Collaborate with recruiting, consulting leadership, and internal sales team members to support a unified approach to client development
  • Help grow existing accounts by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying additional needs
  • Maintain accurate notes, activity, and pipeline updates in CRM
  • Represent Solutia Consulting in the market through professional networking and relationship-building efforts

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following: IT staffing sales
  • technology consulting sales
  • business development
  • account management
  • inside sales tied to professional services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with prospecting, cold outreach, and relationship-based selling
  • Ability to listen well, understand client needs, and communicate solutions clearly
  • Organized and disciplined with pipeline management and follow-up
  • Ability to work well with recruiting teams, consulting leaders, and other internal stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of the Dallas-Fort Worth market is preferred
  • Exposure to technology, IT services, or application development is a plus
