Let's make it happen! About the role: As a Business Development Representative, you will play a central role in growing myPOS Order ePOS in Italy. In close partnership with your assigned SDR, you will take qualified opportunities through the full sales cycle, from product demonstration to signed deal, helping convert pipeline into revenue. This is a pure new-business role, focused on winning new merchants and building commercial momentum in a newly launching market. You will deliver tailored demos, create bespoke proposals, navigate objections confidently, and guide prospects through to a decision with a strong mix of structure, credibility, and drive.
Job Responsibility:
Take over qualified opportunities from SDRs and manage them through the full sales cycle to signed contract
Run tailored product demonstrations based on each merchant's business model, needs, and operational setup
Build and present compelling commercial proposals that clearly communicate the value of the solution
Negotiate confidently within pricing guidelines and move opportunities forward with pace and structure
Build relationships with SMB decision-makers across sectors such as retail, hospitality, and services
Keep pipeline data accurate and up to date in the CRM, including deal stages, forecast values, and close dates
Share market feedback, competitor insights, and merchant reactions with the wider business
Represent myPOS Order at relevant events, trade shows, and local networking opportunities
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, with a demonstrated track record of closing
Experience in ePOS, SaaS, fintech, payments, or hospitality/retail technology is strongly preferred
Proven ability to run a full sales cycle independently, from first demo to signed contract
Experience selling to SMB owners and operators is a strong advantage
Confident, consultative selling style - you listen before you pitch
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust long-term
Fluency in Italian, with good working proficiency in English
Willingness to travel locally for events, merchant meetings, and commercial activity when needed
Nice to have:
Experience in ePOS, SaaS, fintech, payments, or hospitality/retail technology is strongly preferred
Experience selling to SMB owners and operators is a strong advantage
