We are seeking a Business Development Rep/Estimator to join our clients team to help them continue to grow in this great direct placement opportunity. Job Responsibility:

  • Prospect and engage potential clients
  • Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and necessary estimate components
  • Prepare comprehensive estimates by calculating takeoffs and inputting data into the estimating system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Solicit and evaluate quotes from qualified suppliers/subcontractors based on project specifications
  • Provide detailed reviews of estimated bid packages to the Chief Estimator, covering scope, pricing, and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with Project Management post-bid to ensure a smooth transition of project details, including estimates and scope clarification

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience estimating commercial electrical projects
  • Demonstrated business development experience
  • Proficiency in Accubid Classic or Enterprise and familiarity with Live Count software preferred
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Advanced knowledge in electrical estimating and construction methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proactive, team-oriented attitude
