Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. The Business Development Representative at Fivetran is a key strategic position housed within the Marketing organization but operates in close collaboration with the GTM Sales Org. The role focuses on strategically identifying key decision makers, mapping commercial accounts and generating meetings across all levels. With a focus on breaking into named new business accounts, the BDR team contributes to hitting new logo acquisition targets, generating crucial pipeline momentum for Fivetran’s success. This base + uncapped commission BDR position offers a clear growth path and competitive total compensation. This is a full-time position based out of our Denver office supporting the Central time zone. Candidates must be located in Denver, CO and able to work in the office 3 days per week Tues/Wed/Thurs. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including three days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
Job Responsibility:
Hunting & Outbounding - Account mapping into large enterprise or commercial companies while prospecting and generating meetings with all levels of employees from C-Level to data analysts
Identifying key decision makers, understanding their challenges and securing sales qualified opportunities
VP- and IC-level pitches
Collaborating cross-functionally Commercial Account Executives, Marketing and Alliances to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue goals
Following predesigned sales strategies to grow the business and hit account acquisition targets
Mastering the Fivetran consultative, Command of the Message and Challenger sales process
Using pre-created cadences based on Industry, Persona, Use Case and adding personalization
Creating personalized cadences specific to the account and use case
Organizing, logging activity, and categorizing sales lead information into Salesforce.com
Requirements:
Experience of cold calling
Written and verbal communication (proper grammar)
High-level understanding of the enterprise or commercial data space
Nice to have:
Previous SDR/BDR experience of 6-months or longer
