About The Role We’re looking for a Commercial Business Development Representative to join our team! In this role you will work closely with your Account Executives, Marketing and Partner teams to ensure Japan builds strong opportunities in key target accounts. Your responsibilities will include outbound calling, video prospecting, crafting compelling messaging as well as qualifying leads to start high quality conversations for your AEs.The New Business BDR at Fivetran is a key strategic position housed within the Marketing organization but operates in close collaboration with the GTM Sales Org. The role focuses on strategically identifying key decision makers, mapping large enterprise or commercial accounts and generating meetings across all levels within Fortune 100 companies. With a focus on breaking into new business accounts, the BDR team contributes to hitting new logo acquisition targets, generating crucial pipeline momentum for Fivetran’s success. This base + uncapped commission New Business BDR position offers a clear growth path and competitive total compensation. This is a full-time position based remotely out of Japan.
Job Responsibility:
Hunting & Outbounding - Account mapping into large enterprise or commercial companies while prospecting and generating meetings with all levels of employees from C-Level to data analysts
Outbound prospecting into Named accounts
Experienced in VP- and IC-level pitches
Demonstrate a deep interest in our Enterprise and Commercial customers' data challenges and pain points
Collaborate cross-functionally with Enterprise or Commercial Account Executives, Marketing and Alliances to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue goals
Following predesigned sales strategies (and sometimes developing and implementing their own) to grow the business and hit account acquisition targets
Master the Fivetran consultative, Command of the Message and Challenger sales process
Creating personalized cadences specific to the account and use case
Organize, log activity, and categorize sales lead information into Salesforce.com
Requirements:
Experience of cold calling
Bilingual Written and verbal communication (proper grammar)
High-level understanding of the enterprise or commercial data space
Nice to have:
Previous SDR/BDR experience of 6-months or longer
Salesloft/Outreach experience
